I live and work in Tempe, AZ with my wife Cora, daughter Lydia and son Wendell. I’ve always had a passion for documentary filmmaking. I started my career in local TV, went on to film school and have been working full time in the industry since 2007.
In a world that lacks empathy, I believe that helping people tell their story and share their experiences can serve to bring about change. Documentary film making is how I work to bring about that change.
As a documentarian and in leading post-production teams I’ve worked on projects both big and small. From an internal creative agency at a Fortune 500 company to national advertising, an international eSports tournament, and feature-length documentary projects sold worldwide. My work is diverse in scope and message.
I’ve been awarded multiple Gold Addys, nominated for a 2020 Regional Emmy, and won a 2020 National Gold Addy.
In my free time, I enjoy donating my time and skills to my church. In 2016 I co-directed my first feature-length documentary film: Felled: A documentary film about bringing new life to fallen urban trees. Felled is currently streaming on Amazon.
